This is Schweitzer Mountain in Idaho. No matter what anyone says, this is definitely a "hot spot" for you and your family to see. When you first see it, it's truely breath taking! Even better, it's a whole lot of fun to ski down!!
Family Road Trip!!!
Walt Disney World!!!(even though they're easy to mix up)Disney WORLD is a fantastical place in California. I would recommend Disney to any family looking for a road trip, getaway!(if the parents are willing to brave the crowds and major cases of "I want its" as our mom always says!!!)Any way you dice, chop or slice it Disney is a blast and a memory that you will have trouble forgeting!
Willmington
Our family went on a road trip last year to Willmington, North Carolina, and, boy, was it beautiful!! We spent about a week there; visiting, checking out the scenery, visiting the aquarium, and lots more. We went to the pool and the Kure Beach almost every day! I think that the best part was the sunrise (this pic). We had to get up at six o'clock in the morning to watch the sun come over the horizon. In this picture, if you look very cloesly at the water, you can even see a boat!
Festival of Lights
Is this a real boat? Guess again! This "boat" is made completely of shining, twinkling lights! For winter break, we visited Ogle Bay in West Virginia, home of the Festival of Lights. The Festival was truly breath taking! There were at least fifty different moving light combinations like this boat, a carousel with horses, and an acrobat pyramid! That's not even mentioning the non-moving ones!!! The lights are a huge attraction, but there's lots of other fun things to do, too. Such as the Good Zoo which has lots of exotic animals. When we went, we even got a surprise visit from Santa Clause!!
Ready, Set, Action!
The newest Avengers movie is being filmed in Cleveland, Ohio! This action/ sci-fi movie is directed by Joss Whedon, who also helped in writing. In this movie, of course all of the heroes are back including Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), and The Incredible Hawk (voice by Lou Ferrigno)! Don't miss the premiere of this 2012 movie!
